You’re going to love me.

You’ll never want me to tone myself down, because you’ll think I’m the coolest person in the world and you’ll want to see more of all the parts of me that are ‘too much’.

You’ll show me affection, not just because you know I like it, but because you want me to know how much you care about me.

You’re going to love my friends too. You’ll treat them like your own and I’ll never worry about you not getting along.

You’ll want to meet my family, see where I grew up and what made me who I am. And my mum will love you, you’ll get on, because she’s just like me, and you’ll know it annoys me just a little.

You’ll never be afraid of me, of us, of your feelings. Because it feels right. You’ll challenge me, I’ll learn a lot from you. You’ll be as smart as me (smarter) but I’ll never admit how much you teach me about the things that matter. You’ll try new things with me; the café that just opened, that recipe we saw on tiktok, and they‘ll start to feel like they’re ours. Like they’re just for us.

You’ll be more than enough for me, we will love every minute we get to spent together
