we float down the midnight streets

ears ringing

from the bar where we had been

seagulls cry out alarms from above

but you are my Temple, my love

breathe in, breathe out

finally we see each other

i mean truly, genuinely see each other

i pull you in for a kiss, or did you pull me?

looking out at the Thames, it's never been so clear...

Will You Be My Boyfriend?

no, seriously. will you be my boyfriend?

okay, good to hear.

Editor's note:

This is an extract from my personal, private journal. I didn't write it with the intention of sharing but after I finished it I just wanted to.

I think I'm so clever lol because I used alarms and then temple as a juxtaposition but the poem is also set outside Temple tube station in London. And the same with my use of Thames and clear, it's funny because the Thames is murky AF!
